Meet Your Speakers
Tony Esposito
Tony joined BFL Canada in 2014, and currently leads the Real Estate Claims team. He began his insurance career as a claims adjuster for a national property and casualty insurance company before pursuing an independent adjusting role for an international firm. Tony’s focus has been to create more efficient processes, and workflows to further improve the claims experience by those affected by a loss. Tony’s experience in claims has provided the skills to successfully facilitate claims and advocate on behalf of the client.
In addition to his hands on efforts with claims, Tony continues to pursue his passion to educate clients on the insurance products available, by participating at industry seminars, events and strata meetings.
James Kozak
James has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years, commencing his career as an Adjuster with a major national insurer, and transitioned to SCM Insurance Services where he first worked with Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation, and then ClaimsPro in various business development roles. He most recently served as Director, Commercial Services for a major insurance services group.
Well-known throughout Western Canada, James is active in the marketplace with a proven track record of building relationships and delivering results. In his current role as VP, Business Development for Western Canada, James continues to build, retain, and enhance strong client relationships throughout British Columbia. He also supports other client focused initiatives in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
Mr. Kozak holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, as well as his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designation, Canadian Risk Management (CRM) certification, and is a Certified Sales Professional (with distinction). Mr. Kozak is a member in good standing with the Insurance Institute of Canada, Canadian Independent Adjusters Association, Risk and Insurance Management Society and the Canadian Professional Sales Association. He is based out of ClaimsPro’s Vancouver branch location.
